专家简介：Prof. Tim C. Lei is an assistant professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Colorado Denver. In addition, he also holds adjunct appointments of the Departments of Bioengineering, Physiology and Biophysics, and Medicine at the University. His research interests focus on applying and developing advanced optical imaging and spectroscopic techniques to study some interesting and important biomedical problems. Several projects that he is currently researching include: 1) measuring protein dynamics and interactions using fluorescence correlation techniques in cell membranes and lipid rafts for renal diseases, 2) developing nonlinear imaging techniques for early glaucoma detection and diagnostics, 3) measuring scattering properties of animal brain tissue to understanding neural circuitry functions using optogenetic proteins.
