专家简介：Dr Chengrong Chen is a soil scientist who has undertaken research projects extensively in: (1) biogeochemical cycling of carbon and nutrients in terrestrial ecosystems; (2) carbon sequestration and management in terrestrial ecosystems; (3) global environmental changes (warming, elevated CO2, fires etc.) and the biogeochemical processes and belowground diversity; (4) chemical, biochemical and biological processes governing soil nutrient dynamics in terrestrial ecosystems; (5) rhizosphere dynamics of organic matter and associated nutrients in forest ecosystems. Dr Chengrong Chen has published more than 100 refereed journal and conference papers. He has sustained an excellent track record of successfully completing major national and international collaborative Research and Development projects. Dr Chen is currently co-supervisor of 2 postdoctoral and research fellows, 10 PhD students. He is also the Subject Editor of Journal of Soils and Sediments.
