专家简介：Professor Kamal Alameh has over 21 years of research experience in photonics, optoelectronics and Opto-VLSI since receiving his PhD from the University of Sydney in 1993. He is the director of the Electron Science Research Institute, Edith Cowan University, and director of the WA Centre of Excellence for MicroPhotonic Systems. He has also established an international network of research collaboration with world-class international research institutions. Professor Kamal Alameh has published 330+ peer reviewed journal and conference papers including three book chapters. In addition he has filed 26 patents over technologies and discoveries that have commercial potential. He has been invited to present at leading international conferences and workshops for more than 30 occasions and his research output had been the basis of more than 20 invited talks and 5 book chapters. Many of his research publications are in key high-impact journals in his field such as Nature Communications (on Magneto Plasmonics), OSA Optics Express, Applied Physics Letters, Physical Review B, IEEE Journal of Selected Topic in Quantum Electronics, and OSA Optics Letters. He has been exceptionally well supported by successful government and industry grants totalling over $20 million dollars in funding.
