On November 1st, Irina Solunova, the first vice president of Russian Technological University, Professor Wang Juntao from Far Eastern Federal University, and other members of the delegation visited FNU. FNU Vice President Chen Qinghua met with the guests, along with officials from International Office, School of Psychology, College of Physics and Energy, College of Photonic and Electronic Engineering, and College of Chemistry and Material Science.
Chen Qinghua introduced the development of FNU’s international education and said that education has played an important role in the long-standing cultural exchange between China and Russia. He hoped that the visit will serve as an opportunity to solidify the foundation of friendship and cooperation, to conduct in-depth collaboration and close interaction like academic research, and teacher-student exchange in related disciplines, and to work together to create new international cooperation and exchange initiatives, thereby contributing to the innovative development of people-to-people exchange between China and Russia. Irina Solunova introduced the internationalized education of Russian Technological University and said that she will promote and further the partnership between the two universities, and that both sides will leverage their respective strengths and integrate resources to build new platforms in the fields such as teacher-student exchange, and cooperation in teaching and research.
Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on matters related to cooperation and exchange, and the visiting guests also conducted further research in project coordination at School of Psychology.
