On January 12, Süleyman Kızıltoprak, President of Dumlupinar University (Türkiye), led a delegation to visit FNU. President Wang Changping met with the visiting guests, and heads from the International Office, College of Fine Arts and School of Physical Education and Sport Science participated in the meeting.
At the meeting, Wang Changping said that the signing of the memorandum of cooperation is a good start for the cooperation and exchanges between the two sides. He hoped that the visit will serve as an opportunity for both sides to establish a long-term cooperative relationship, expand the cooperation areas, build a disciplinary dialogue platform, promote mutual visits of teachers and students, strengthen cross-cultural exchanges, and jointly promote the high-quality development of international talent training. Süleyman Kızıltoprak introduced the situation and historical development of Dumlupinar University, and expressed his appreciation for FNU’s century-long development. He stressed that Dumlupinar University is a member of the Erasmus Programme, through which he hoped that both the universities will greatly promote the cooperation and communication between them, and provide students with more opportunities of exchange and study abroad to broaden their international horizons.
At the meeting, the two sides had heated discussions on such aspects as strengthening mutual visits and exchanges, consolidating cooperative friendship, expanding disciplinary cooperation areas, and promoting resource sharing. Before the meeting, President Süleyman Kızıltoprak and his delegation visited the old photo gallery of FNU.
